// CODE OF CONDUCT

Community Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to everyone in the Sparro Frontier AI Learning Lab, members, mentors, guests, and staff, across live sessions, the Lab Console, hackathons, and any lab space online or in person. Effective July 2026 · Version 1.0.

1. Our standard

The lab is a small, high-trust room. Show up, build, and help others build. We expect every participant to be respectful, honest, and constructive, and to make the space safe and welcoming regardless of background, gender, caste, religion, disability, age, or level of experience.

2. Expected behaviour

  • Treat others with respect; critique work, not people.
  • Give credit for others' work and ideas.
  • Keep cohort discussions and shared materials within the lab unless the owner permits sharing.
  • Help newcomers; answer generously.

3. Unacceptable behaviour

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind, including unwelcome messages, slurs, or sexual attention.
  • Doxxing or sharing others' personal information without consent.
  • Plagiarism, or presenting others' work as your own, including in the skill test and hackathons.
  • Spam, solicitation, or off-topic promotion in community channels.
  • Sharing, recording, or reselling lab curriculum, recordings, or materials without permission.
  • Misuse of GPU compute (crypto-mining, unlawful content, reselling) or attempts to breach platform security.

4. Academic and assessment integrity

Skill tests are individual, timed work. Impersonation, collusion, use of unauthorised assistance, or sharing questions is malpractice; it voids the result without refund and may end membership.

5. Reporting

If you experience or witness a breach, report it via WhatsApp or email (Section 8), or to any lab mentor. Reports are handled discreetly. We will not retaliate against good-faith reporters, and retaliation is itself a breach of this Code.

6. Enforcement

We respond proportionately. Depending on severity, actions range from a private warning, to temporary suspension, to removal from the lab without refund. Serious violations, harassment, threats, or endangering the platform, may result in immediate removal without prior warning, and referral to authorities where warranted.

7. Appeals

If you believe an enforcement decision was mistaken, you may appeal in writing to the Grievance Officer within 7 days. We will review and respond within 15 days.
